2024 Maison Réno, Auxey-Duresses Rouge

Burgundy, France | 100% Pinot Noir

Crafted from two parcels of land located on the southern slopes of Auxey-Duresses, bordering Saint-Romain, this is a spectacular wine. Sourced from 60-year-old vines and yielding just 10 hectolitres per hectare, the wine is produced in extremely limited quantities. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested and fermented as whole clusters with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in seasoned French oak barrels. The nose is earthy and expressive, revealing aromas of red berries and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is generous and beautifully structured, offering remarkable depth, concentration and a long, refined finish. Only 520 bottles produced.
