St. Georg is one of the most prestigious wines in the portfolio of Aldo Sohm and Gerhard Kracher. Named after the village where one of Grüner Veltliner’s parental varieties was discovered, it carries a profound sense of origin and terroir.

The vines are planted mid-slope on limestone-rich soils, a site that gives the wine its remarkable tension, precision and mineral drive. On the palate, its freshness and elegance are so striking that it could easily be mistaken for a fine Chablis.

Beautifully balanced throughout, the wine reveals refined aromas of melon, pear and gooseberry, finishing with poise and clarity. This is a sophisticated and distinctive expression of Grüner Veltliner.
