NV Emmanuel Brochet, Selected 1er Cru Pierry

Champagne, France | Pinot Meunier-Chardonnay | Disgorged October 2023 | 3g/L dosage | Base 2020

From Brochet's limited edition series "SELECTED" comes this single-village revelation, a Champagne that captures Pierry's soul in every bubble. Old-vine Meunier (the undisputed king of this Premier Cru) brings lush red apple and baked brioche, while Chardonnay lasers through with crushed chalk tension. It's both vinous and vibrant, like biting into a just-ripe pear dusted with sea salt flakes. Juicy and salivating.
