A fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing Fine Wine & Spirits specialist. We are looking for a full-time Private Client Manager with a proven track record of successful selling to private clients. Self-motivated and driven, you will demonstrate a real love of wine, an in-depth knowledge of the UK wine market and very strong selling skills.

We are looking for the next member of our family who will embrace our agencies, from emerging producers to Iconic estates, live by our demanding standards, values and deliver effortless excellence. You will champion classical and non-classical winemaking techniques and have an in-depth knowledge of the wine world.

We are looking for someone professional who will fit our customer base and team. You will treat your customers as part of your team, anticipate their needs and make them your own. You will accompany them in their everyday business and communicate accordingly to our support team.

Key responsibilities:

•Develop new business opportunities and grow your portfolio profitably

•Meet performance targets

•Monitor customer trading

•Increase the visibility of our agencies with private clients

•Provide excellent customer service by being actively in contact with your clients

•Organise and support private client dinners during our producers on market visits

•Actively support our events throughout the year

•Account management – maintain relationships with customers post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals. Taking ownership of the customer

•Generate sales leads by building strong relationships with potential and existing customers through a variety of channels, e.g. networking, social media, referrals, warm and cold calling

You Must Be:

•Well connected and have a good reputation within our industry

•Knowledgeable (equivalent to WSET Advanced )

•Highly motivated and proactive

•A strong negotiator with sound commercial acumen

•Able to communicate confidently externally and internally

•Organised with good time management skills and initiative

•Have an existing network of active UK clients

•Competence in Social Media platforms preferred

•Numerate and analytical with good computer skills

•Impeccably mannered to represent Wine Source values


•Reporting to the Head of Private Client

•Sales and account management role

• Office-based role ( 4 days minimum) – currently based in Bedford Square, London

•Salary depending on experience + commission
