Hugues started his Sommelier career in London working for The Bleeding Heart Group. After 2 years he was given the opportunity to work for renowned Chef Alain Ducasse at The Louis XV in Monaco (3 Michelin Star Restaurant). There he learned everything he has based his career on. His first Head Sommelier position was at the Claridges Hotel for Gordon Ramsay, followed by Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester and finally The Connaught Hotel working with Helene Darroze. He is now the Private Client Director at Wine Source and has been with the company for almost 4 years. Hugues has an established network of private clients and HNWIs. He is one of the most famous and respected sommeliers in UK.
